Job summary

A leading company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a health and safety professional to conduct audits and inspections, implement safety certifications, and provide compliance advice during production operations. Responsibilities include developing risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and coordinating HSE trainings. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining health and safety certifications.
• Support PPE compliance and proper selection.
• Conduct daily compliance tours on projects.
• Provide on-site health and safety advice.
• Develop risk assessments for new activities.
• Lead incident investigations and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate HSE related trainings with NLI department.
• Monitor implementation of the Toolbox Talk Plan.
• Coordinate with security about visitor movements.
• Provide HSE improvement proposals.
• Collect and analyze HSE performance data.
• Follow up on Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
• Manage industrial waste manifests.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, maintain records and report the results to HSE Section head.
• Assist the HSE section head in implementing and maintaining the certification of occupational health and safety system and environmental system in place.
• Support proper selection of PPE and ensure PPE compliance.
• Conduct daily tours to the projects executed by the company maintenance team and contractors to ensure compliance.
• Provide on-site health and safety advice and support to the field team and field supervisors during all phases of production operations.
• Develop hazard identification and risk assessments for new activities and ensure they are updated.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations and ensure preventative actions are identified and followed up.
• Liaise with the NLI department for HSE related trainings.
• Follow up on the implementation of the Toolbox Talk Plan by the HSE Officers.
• Coordinate with security guards in line with visitors’ movements, keeping track of entry and exit to company premises, etc.
• Provide HSE improvement proposals and recommendations.
• Collect HSE performance data, develop trending reports and identify and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up on implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Policies, programs and procedures.
• Follow up on manifests of industrial waste with the waste supplier.
