Key details about the role and the candidate

We’re hiring an HR Operations Supervisor to keep our workforce engine running smoothly across rigs and projects. You’ll own day-to-day people logistics—crew changes, POB/rosters, travel, visas, medical/training validity, timesheets, leave—and make sure data in Workday and SAP is accurate, auditable, and ready for payroll and client reporting. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to compliance with Saudi labour law, Qiwa, and major client standards (e.g., Aramco).

Primary responsibilities

  • Crew Change & POB Accuracy – Build and execute reliable crew plans; maintain live POB/rosters with 100% alignment to site reality.
  • Timesheets & Payroll Readiness – Drive error-free time capture; reconcile SAP data to cutoffs; eliminate rework and post-payroll noise.
  • Leave & Coverage – Balance leave/holiday approvals in Workday with operational coverage; prevent last-minute shortages.
  • Medical, Training & Certification Validity – Track expiries, schedule renewals, and produce compliance reports from Workday.
  • Travel & Mobilization – Coordinate end-to-end travel, visas/work permits, and camp logistics; ensure all movements are system-tracked.
  • Final Settlements & Exit Control – Orchestrate end-of-service (EOSB) calculations, clearances, asset hand backs, and offboarding so files are approved ≥10 days before last working day.
  • Nationalization (Saudization) Support – Maintain accurate nationality/job data; provide dashboards and actions to meet National targets.
  • Escalation Discipline & “One-Voice” Comms – Implement simple SOPs/SLAs so issues route to the right owners—reducing email “noise” and copy-all escalations.
  • Data Quality & Reporting – Own master data hygiene, Workday/SAP alignment, and on-time reports for Operations, Finance/Payroll, and clients.

Experience

  • Proven experience in HR Operations (oilfield/drilling/heavy industry strongly preferred).
  • Advanced user of Workday and SAP for HR/Time/Reporting; strong Excel (pivots, lookups, reconciliation).
  • Working knowledge of Saudi labour law, Qiwa processes; comfort with GOSI/Muqeem routines.
  • Proven experience running high-volume crew logistics with tight cutoffs and 24/7 operational realities.
  • Clear communicator in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to Aramco or other major-client compliance ecosystems.
  • Experience designing SOPs/SLAs and building lightweight trackers (SharePoint/Sheets/Power BI).
