Job Overview

The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring we attract the right talent, engage and inspire a team with a unified, collaborative and innovative culture across the team. The HR Manager plays a key role in the recruitment and day‑to‑day management of the team, ensuring compliance in alignment with Saudi employment law.

Responsibilities
  • Provide business-focused and best practice HR support to the team.
  • Act as a primary contact on HR/Payroll/Benefits matters for the team.
  • Partner with recruiters to shortlist and interview candidates.
  • Prepare contracts for new hires.
  • Liaise with immigration advisors on visa preparation for non‑local hires and maintain all required documents.
  • Prepare accurate monthly payroll files for processing, in partnership with the finance team.
  • Ensure timely payments and respond to employee payroll queries.
  • Manage attendance, overtime, bonuses, leave and allowances for the team.
  • Ensure enrollment and deletion for employees and their legal dependents in the company insurance plan, confirm and pay premiums accurately.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for new starters.
  • Ensure payroll and benefits policies comply with Saudi Arabian labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintain the HRIS to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the delivery of calendar activities and implement recommendations.
  • Advise People Managers on broader HR activities such as absence management, performance and talent management.
  • Lead cyclic events like salary review, consistency meetings and promotions (e.g., preparing ad hoc reports, attending consistency meetings).
  • Share knowledge and experience proactively across the team and be recognised as an expert in your business area.
  • Work closely with the Production team to identify localised HR initiatives and priorities, keeping closely connected with wider HR function to ensure alignment and consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Ideally a degree level qualification and/or working toward an HR qualification.
  • Experience within the film/TV/media industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Proven experience with employee relations issues and a pragmatic approach to managing them.
  • Strong working knowledge of Arabic employment legislation and best practice.
  • Proven experience of developing effective processes and suggesting new ways of working.
