The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to management and employees, providing expert guidance on HR-related matters and implementing HR strategies aligned with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hotel industry, a deep understanding of HR best practices and labor laws, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on all HR-related matters, fostering open communication and trust.
- Provide expert support on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other HR processes.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives and enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Conduct regular check-ins with managers and employees to promote a positive work environment, address concerns, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR data, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
- Participate in the development and delivery of HR training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Assist with recruitment and interview processes, tracking candidate statuses and providing timely follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with the Corporate HR team to continuously enhance HR processes for greater efficiency.
- Oversee the timesheet and biometric attendance system, ensuring accurate tracking of employee attendance.
- Submit online investigation requests, prepare incident reports, and assist with new employee background checks.
- Facilitate the termination process by obtaining resignation letters, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Ensure the HR Department’s administrative needs are met efficiently and professionally, including document management, communication, and logistics for new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role, with a strong focus on business partnership within the hotel sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and laws applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
