What will you be doing?
Subsea7 is hiring an HR Advisor who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Saudi labor law regulations, Saudization and client‑specific requirements. The role will manage, monitor and implement strategies to increase the percentage of Saudi nationals within the workforce supporting the organization in maintaining and achieving nationalization targets and alignment with company objectives and contractual hiring agreements with the client while supporting the HR function in handling training & development plans, insurance follow‑ups, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Generalist and specialized knowledge in HR subjects including employment law, employee relations, benefits, global.
- Update multiple managers and HRBPs on requisitions and candidates regularly.
- Support the relevant HR plan and strategy, providing input when appropriate.
- Provide policy and procedure guidance to hiring managers and candidates.
Training
- Develop a training budget for the identified training plans, initiatives, and programs.
- Coordinate training programs and professional development activities for employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals by maintaining and building active relationships with training institutes and providers.
- Help design training curriculum in coordination with the relevant authorities (such as universities, specialized colleges and institutes) to ensure compatibility with trends or emerging requirements in the sector.
- Handle interns onboarding, mentoring and assignment plans between departments to ensure they're getting the best outcome of an OJT.
Recruitment
- In collaboration with key stakeholders in the business unit, develop & implement a recruitment plan for KSA that addresses the sourcing and recruiting of local talent in KSA.
- Support the global talent review process locally.
- Support HR function with the onboarding/offboarding, performance tracking, and documentation of employee records.
Saudization
- Support in the submission of client detailed Saudization Plan for each contract.
- Liaise with projects in relation to their Saudization requirements, ensuring that all contractual, national requirements are met.
- Support in the audits of HRSDs to ensure full compliance with the contracts and local labour laws.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law regulations, Saudization and Aramco‑specific requirements.
- Increase the percentage of Saudi nationals within the workforce and maintain records and reports on Saudization targets and ratios.
- Conduct regular awareness sessions and updates to stakeholders on Saudization targets and initiatives.
- Advise management on policies, practices, and procedures related to Saudization initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Saudization and nationalization strategies to ensure compliance with government requirements.
- Provide regular progress dashboard to senior management on Saudization performance.
What experience would we like you to have?
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations or Recruitment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related administrative field.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management.
- Professional demeanor and business savvy, able to interface with all levels of employees and executive management across cultures.
- Ability to maintain a significant workload with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quick learner, flexible and focused.
- CIPD or SHRM HR professional certification is a plus.

- Strong analytical skills.
- Creative problem solving – suggest and develop new methods and ways of working.
- Sound communication skills – communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision.
- The ability to organize and prioritize own work and have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously.
- Understanding of clients' needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions.
