Job Title: IT Manager for 5* Hotel in Jeddah
Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of IT experience, preferably within hospitality or service-related industries.
Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Support
- Manage daily IT operations throughout the hotel.
- Provide technical support to all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Finance, Sales, etc.).
- Ensure all software and hardware systems are functioning correctly and are well maintained.
- Maintain and support Property Management System (PMS), POS, CRM, accounting systems, and other hotel applications.
- Manage service requests and resolve IT issues within agreed response time.
2. Network & Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain the hotel’s internal network, servers, firewalls, and IP communication systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of internet services and guest Wi‑Fi, including uptime, speed, security, and user authentication.
- Oversee CCTV, telephony, access control systems, IPTV, and other technology infrastructure.
3. Data Security & Compliance
- Ensure data protection and compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Implement cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewall protection, and intrusion monitoring.
- Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure business continuity.
- Assist in preparing departmental budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans.
- Ensure accurate billing, posting, and cashiering procedures.
- Monitor cost control measures, overtime, and payroll efficiency.
- Analyze daily revenue reports and suggest performance improvements.
5. Budgeting & Asset Management
- Prepare annual IT budget.
- Monitor IT expenses and ensure cost‑effectiveness.
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and service agreements.
6. Projects & System Upgrades
- Lead IT projects including new system rollouts, hotel openings, digitalization initiatives, and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with hotel management and corporate IT teams for IT approvals and implementations.
- Ensure systems are scalable and aligned with business growth.
7. Training & User Development
- Train employees on IT systems, cyber safety, and effective system usage.
- Create and maintain user manuals, IT SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical orientation to new employees.

Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Jeddah. As an IT Manager at AL Khozema Hotel and Residences in KAUST, you will be responsible for overseeing all technology systems within the hotel to ensure smooth operation of network infrastructure, property management systems, point‑of‑sale systems, communication systems, servers, guest Wi‑Fi, data security, and IT support services. The role ensures that IT supports hotel operations efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business goals.
Key Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3–7 years of IT experience, preferably within hospitality or service‑related industries.
- Experience managing PMS, POS, networking, servers, and IT security systems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPN, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, and server administration.
- Understanding of hospitality systems (Opera, Fidelio, Micros, SunSystems, ERP systems, CRM, etc.).
- Experience in database management and backup planning.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
