You will be responsible for servicing, adjusting, and repairing equipment while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• Experience in repairing and installing electrical circuitry.
• Ability to drive customer machines and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document customer issues and machine performance.
• Service, adjust, and repair equipment ensuring top quality workmanship.
• Observe and report defects or impending failures.
• Replace parts as per company policies.
• Interpret technical service information and apply on the job.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe condition.
• Report any issues with tools or equipment to Supervisor.
• Keep working areas clean and safe.

Skills

Reading mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings

Servicing and repairing major brands like Komatsu and Caterpillar

Mechanical, Thermal, Hydraulic, Electronics knowledge

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Job description

We are inviting applications from candidates who have experience repairing and installing and electrical circuitry of Heavy Equipment.

Your main responsibilities in this job are as below:

• Understanding and documenting customers issues as well as machine performance issues from operators
• To service, adjust and repair equipment, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using special tools and equipment provided, ensuring top quality workmanship at all times
• Observing, recognizing and reporting on defects as well as symptoms of impending failure
• To replace parts as per requirements while adhering to the policies and processes laid down by the Company
• Interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins etc. and apply such information on the job
• To ensure at all times that equipment and tools are kept in a clean safe condition
• Report any shortages, damages or faults with tools or equipment to the Supervisor
• Keep working areas in clean and safe
• Drive customers machines and company vehicles on or off the premises.

We are looking for:

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings for Heavy Equipment machinery for various applications like construction, concrete and lifting
• Experience in servicing and repairing name brands like Komatsu, Caterpillar, Doosan, Hyundai, JCB, Liugong and Volvo
• Practical knowledge of Mechanical, Thermal, Hydraulic, Electronics principles
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite particularly MS Outlook and Calendar
• Perform welding, fabrication, and calibration as needed
• Computer literate and competent in the use of a laptop for trouble shooting
• Ability to work independently and to function as part of a team
• Awareness of existing and new technology related to the industry
• Good understanding of Technical English
• High customer orientation
• Relevant experience of 3-5 years in the industry.
