To carry out repairs to the problems reported by the Maintenance Foreman (with safety) of the Trucks, Dumper, Flatbed Trailer and to the machines as instructed by the Foreman together with the Sr. Mechanic.

  • Assist in brake repair and overhauling.
  • Assist in mechanical trouble shooting.
  • Assist in Tire Repairs and Replacement
  • Assist in some welding jobs as required
  • Assist in all truck/flatbed mechanical Repairs
  • Ensure housekeeping in the work area.
  • Ensure that all tools are well kept after use
  • Perform other related jobs that may be assigned.
Other Responsibilities
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety trainings planned for them.
  • Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work
