Job overview

As an IT System Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical services to lead the successful delivery of healthcare solutions to company’s clients in both government and private sectors. Utilizing your experience and knowledge in software solutions implementation and support, you will be involved in the system architecture aspect of the project, including designing and validating based on the client need, evaluating and validating hardware BOMs, software licenses, and network solutions, and related activities. You will lead the system installation, configuration, testing, quality check, training end users, and go-live planning, and you will supervise system performance, analyze system logs, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge, and coordinate with vendors and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead system installation, configuration, testing, quality checks, end-user training, and go-live planning for healthcare solutions.
• Supervise system performance, analyze system logs, and optimize resources to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the sales process with technical expertise and product knowledge.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain documentation related to the system.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Holding CCNA, MSSA, ITIL, PMP, or an equivalent certification is an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software solutions implementation and support, preferably in the Healthcare IT industry or relevant IT field.

Skills and Competencies

• Backend hardware installations and configuration management (servers, MS Server OS, VMware/Hyper-V, storage configuration, RAID, SAN, NAS, and networks).
• Database systems (SQL, Oracle) and tools such as PL/SQL Developer; HL7 Integration; DICOM configuration; Data Migration.
• Familiarity with health information IT aspects of the healthcare sector (RIS, PACS, LIS, HIS, DMS).
• Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and training skills.
• Client-focused with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
• Ability to travel according to business requirements.
