Job Summary:
The HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards within the organization. This role focuses on risk prevention, compliance with Saudi safety regulations (Civil Defense, Ministry of Labor), and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures across the facility.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Civil Defense requirements and national safety regulations.
Prepare incident and accident reports, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Train employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard awareness.
Monitor and inspect safety equipment and ensure regular testing and maintenance.
Participate in emergency drills and evacuation planning.
Ensure contractor compliance with HSE standards and site requirements.
Prepare regular HSE performance reports for management review.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and ISO 45001 requirements.
Solid experience in risk assessment and incident investigation.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Proficiency in reporting and using computer applications.
Familiarity with Saudi safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred certifications:
NEBOSH IGC
OSHA certifications
