Job description

We’re looking for a Head of Revenue Operations for our merchant business to build and lead the commercial engine behind one of the most ambitious financial services roadmaps in the Middle East.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Account Management, Risk, Product, and Finance – owning the infrastructure, processes and insights that drive Tabby’s revenue from the BNPL merchant business across all markets. From forecasting, commercial GTM planning, OKRs and funnel design to automation and systems architecture, you’ll be the force that turns chaos into clarity and scale.

We need someone who can build the foundations of a world‑class RevOps function while immediately delivering impact across the commercial org. If you’re a strategic operator who wants to design how revenue gets built in an enterprise‑scale hypergrowth fintech – this is your seat at the table.

Ownership areas
  • Merchant revenue (merchant acquisition, retention/growth and cross‑sell funnels)
  • BNPL product revenue growth (co‑ownership of product funnels and ownership of BNPL’s growth, expansion into new geographies and industries)
Key Details
  • Department: Commercial Operations
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: UAE
  • Workplace type: Onsite
  • Reporting To: Zain Khan
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial planning and forecasting process for the BNPL business and overall merchant commission revenue, ensuring accuracy across pipeline, bookings and revenue.
  • Own GTM for our merchant network’s geographical expansions in collaboration with compliance, risk, product and sales, and drive expansions into industries through new/existing products. Design, optimise and scale revenue workflows from lead generation to deal closure and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the product and risk teams to optimise top of the funnel for our BNPL checkout products.
  • Take ownership of regulatory document submissions pertaining to the BNPL product’s set‑up/launch/licensing.
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into GTM performance.
  • Drive operational efficiency through automation, using tools and AI‑driven workflows.
  • Own our in‑house CRM, ensuring it’s configured to meet the needs of our Sales, Account Management, Data, Merchant Onboarding and Partnerships teams.
  • Maintain integrations between our in‑house CRM and our broader tech stack (e.g., lead data enrichment, Jira, Slack, Google Sheets, AppSheets, etc).
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Data, Finance, Risk and Product to streamline processes, improve handoffs and align goals.
  • Deliver sales enablement and training resources to boost GTM productivity and effectiveness.
  • Establish strong data hygiene practices, governance and documentation standards.
  • Build and manage a high‑performing RevOps team. You will be managing a team of 3‑5 people from the start.
What we’re looking for:
Prior Experience
  • You have 7‑10 years of commercial exposure, working in at least one (preferably more) of the following functions, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech:
    1. Portfolio / Revenue management
    2. Commercial/Revenue operations
    3. Sales / Account Management
  • You are an experienced leader and have previously set up, led and/or structured teams.
  • You have prior experience in owning a P&L and operating in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
  • You’re a CRM expert and have managed and optimised Enterprise‑grade CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) at scale and understand how to structure it for growth.
Automation‑Obsessed & Tech‑first

You love vibe‑coding, are comfortable using AI and no‑code tools (e.g., Claude, AppSheets, Zapier, ChatGPT, etc.) to remove manual effort/dependencies and accelerate impact. If you do, we expect to learn more about it in the task you get during the follow‑on stages of our interview process, subject to your advancement.

Data‑Driven

You have strong analytical skills with deep experience in forecasting, funnel metrics, performance reporting and commercial insights. You eat excels for breakfast and are great at visualising data‑heavy information and at presenting it.

Process Mindset

You have a proven ability to identify friction in the GTM engine and design systems that scale across multiple markets.

Strategic Operator

You’re able to connect the dots between business strategy and operational execution. Comfortable presenting to execs, aligning stakeholders and most importantly, delivering measurable impact. Not shy of executing yourself when required, rather than solely relying on others for execution.

Builder Mentality

You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building from scratch. You’re proactive, scrappy and resourceful.

Additional qualifications (+ extra brownie points)
  • You have prior experience working in a multi‑product (or multi‑market) omnichannel fintech company.
  • You’re an experienced Rev‑Ops professional who has tasted P&L management.
  • You have experience in working with product and/or credit risk teams.
  • You’re able to communicate in Arabic.
