Job description

Summary

Develops and oversees the implementation of Integration Services Department vision, and responsible for leading and managing all activities and staff within Integration Services Department. Creates seamless data flow between the different applications, which enables the organizations within KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) to get the data they need to carry out their functions quickly and efficiently. Responsible for addressing employee engagement and retention in the Integration Services Department and for developing staff within HITA.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Develops and oversees the implementation of the long‑term vision for the Integration Services Department to optimize HITA’s contributions to KSFH&RC's mission and goals.
2. Ensures that integrated applications and services meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end‑user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues through collaboration with the different teams involved.
3. Oversees the development of a middleware capability that reduces dependence on point‑to‑point software integration.
4. Supervises all integration development and maintenance activities from gathering of requirements to ongoing maintenance of middleware applications.
5. Oversees any new software integration into KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) systems and ensures it meets functional and technical requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
6. Increases integration service operating efficiency and adapts to new requirements, as necessary.
7. Provides vendor management support to IT Administration, and technical guidance on Request for Proposal (RFPs), assisting with vendor selection, and managing Service‑Level Agreement (SLAs).
8. Address employee engagement and retention in the Integration Services Department and develop staff in HITA.
9. Leads and manages the performance of Integration Services staff through performance management, counselling, motivating, training and development and orientation of new employees.
10. Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
11. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
12. Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.

Experience Required

Six (6) years of related experience including four (4) years in a managerial position with PhD, nine (9) years of similar qualifications with Masters Degree, or elven (11) years of similar qualifications with Bachelor’s is required.

Other Requirements (Certificates)

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
