A leading management consultancy in the Riyadh Region is seeking a Group Leader – Body Shop Maintenance. The role involves leading maintenance operations to ensure equipment uptime and production efficiency, supervising a maintenance team, and managing preventive and corrective maintenance of robotic systems. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in automotive manufacturing and a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive Body Shop Maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics, PLCs, welding equipment, and automation systems.
  • Experience with TPM, Kaizen, and root cause analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance team for Body Shop.
  • Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Job Summary

Lead and manage Body Shop maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. Responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of robotic welding and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance team for Body Shop (BIW, robotic, and welding equipment).
  • Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for robots, welders, conveyors, and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain PLCs, robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.), and automation networks.
  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, MTTR, MTBF) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure safety compliance (LOTO, ISO 45001) and audit readiness.
  • Manage spare parts and maintenance documentation in CMMS.
  • Train and develop technical staff on equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive Body Shop Maintenance.
