Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants seeks a seasoned Technical Design Department Manager to lead the Design Office operations across Riyadh, Khobar, Egypt, and the Philippines. The role requires coordinating Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, Infrastructure and BIM teams to ensure on-time, high-quality design deliverables while maintaining governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master's degree preferred).
• 20+ years of experience in multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy.
• Minimum 8–10 years in a leadership role managing large Design Offices.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple engineering disciplines and international design teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the Design Office across all regional offices.
• Coordinate and integrate the work of all Discipline Heads (Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, Infrastructure, BIM, etc.).
• Ensure timely delivery of design projects in line with quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize workload distribution across offices.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, design procedures, and QA/QC processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, digital engineering, and BIM initiatives.
• Prepare management reports, resource forecasts, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.
