Job summary
A healthcare provider in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified nurse to provide patient care and support in various medical procedures. Candidates should have a nursing diploma or degree recognized in Saudi Arabia and a minimum of two years of experience. The role involves administering medications, assisting in procedures, monitoring patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. Knowledge of basic Arabic is preferred. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- SCFHS License (Pass Dataflow & Prometric Exam).
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for consultation.
- Check and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels).
- Collect medical history and note symptoms.
- Assist in basic diagnostic tests (blood tests, ECG, urine tests, etc.).
- Prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures.
- Assist in wound dressing, injections, IV drips, and vaccinations.
- Support dental, dermatology, or gynecology procedures (if working in a specialized clinic).
- Ensure all medical instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Administer medications & injections as prescribed.
- Educate patients on medicine usage, side effects, and aftercare.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Guide patients on chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, etc.).
- Provide counseling on nutrition, pregnancy care, or general health.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and track patient progress.
- Maintain clean and sterile conditions in the clinic.
- Dispose of medical waste (used syringes, gloves, etc.) properly.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Maintain accurate patient records (digital or paper-based).
- Assist in insurance claims & billing procedures (if required).
- Monitor medical supplies and order stock when needed.
