We are seeking skilled and dependable Generator Technicians to join our client’s maintenance and technical services team in Riyadh. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel and gas-powered generator systems. This role demands technical expertise, strong diagnostic ability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Install, test, and commission diesel and gas-powered generator sets and associated control systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in generators, alternators, and control panels.
Conduct load testing and calibrate voltage and frequency settings.
Replace defective components such as starters, alternators, filters, and wiring harnesses.
Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repair logs, and performance reports.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, manufacturer specifications, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and engineers for system upgrades and efficiency improvements.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and perform on-site troubleshooting.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure tools are maintained in good working condition.
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Mechanical / Power Engineering.
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in generator installation and maintenance (preferred GCC experience).
Familiarity with diesel generator brands such as Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, or Kirloskar.
Strong understanding of generator electrical systems, control circuits, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools (multimeter, megger, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical stamina and willingness to work under field conditions and rotating shifts.
