Job summary

A Recruitment Agency in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Accountant responsible for managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance and Accounting, fluent Arabic and English skills, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Familiarity with SAP or Dynamics 365 is beneficial.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in Saudi Arabia.
• SOCPA certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in a multinational company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines.
• Handle Marine Insurance Declarations.
• Manage reconciliations for Custom and Foreign Purchases.
• Oversee booking and payments of Cash Expenses.
• Post debit/credit notes and recurring expenses.
• Manage Asset Accounting.
• Provide necessary documentation for audits.

Job description

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting transactions. They handle bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and support budgeting while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The role also assists in month‑end closing, audits, and providing financial insights to help the company maintain strong financial control.

• Ensuring Mapei accounting guidelines are followed
• Marine Insurance Declarations
• Custom & Foreign Purchase reconciliations
• Cash Exp booking and payments
• GL & recurring exp posting
• Debit / credit note management

Education and Qualification

Education and Training:

• Graduate in Finance and Accounting

Technical and professional knowledge:

• Any SOCPA certification is added advantage

Work Experience:

• Min 2 years in similar position in Saudi Arabia
• Experience working in a multinational company in SAP/ Dynamics 365 environment is added advantage

Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English
