£280 per day LTD

48 hours a week – Sunday to Thursday

Overtime may be available at the normal day rate

Morson Edge are currently looking for Fuel Tank Technicians for an exciting new 18 month contract in Saudi!

The Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness of aircraft for the customer. Operating in a dynamic environment, this role involves both on-aircraft and component maintenance, interfacing with various departments and organizations to uphold safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Technical Orders for avionics work, encompassing both on-aircraft and component maintenance.
  • Conduct component maintenance including inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Perform on-aircraft tasks such as installation, repair, modification, and testing of aircraft systems.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and procedures outlined in the MOE.
  • Maintain strict tool control procedures.
  • Manage spare part requirements using the Gold ESP logistics system.
  • Provide guidance to SNTTP programs on engineering issues.
  • Execute TCTO’s (Time Compliance Technical Orders) and special inspections as directed.
  • Facilitate the development of assigned SNTTP trainees.
Recruitment Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Completion of a recognized aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or ONC qualification with relevant military training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational flying aircraft environment or 3 years on the same aircraft type.
  • Relevant type training and specific certifications.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for technical discussions.
  • High standards in housekeeping and FOD prevention.
  • Familiarity with RSAF technical publications.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication with tactful interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a diverse workforce.
  • Understanding of BAESSA engineering operating procedures.
  • HF (Human Factors) and WOME (Working On Military Equipment) trained.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
Product Safety & SHE Responsibilities
  • Adherence to company Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies.
  • Reporting and mitigation of incidents, accidents, or near misses.
  • Conducting audits as necessary to ensure risk mitigation.
