To manage and control all Hydraulic and lubrication maintenance activities of RM to ensure that all operations are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Supervise and lead the hydraulic and lubrication team, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of RM Hydraulic, lubrication and grease systems reliability and availability to achieve the required targets and objectives that have been established and declared earlier by top management.
  • Troubleshooting practice in rolling mill Hydraulic, lubrication and grease systems.
  • Plan and allocate tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work is performed to high standards.
  • Personally resolve critical maintenance problems to minimize any production downtime.
  • Report relevant activities, and so with the status of the assigned maintenance activities.
  • Looks into the safety aspect within workplace, tools, facilities, and subordinates.

Provide professional advice and guidance to internal customers on Hydraulic maintenance and engineering issues to support the achievement of corporate production objectives.

  • Report all equipment or process demand not to be functioning correctly to immediate Supervisor.
  • Assign routine and non-routine tasks and duties to each group to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in the most efficient and safe way
  • Ask permission from immediate Supervisor to disabling any safety interlocks.
  • Report to Mill Support Supervisor all job activities carried out during shift duty prior to leaving site.

Other Responsibilities:

  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • Familiar safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety training planned from them.
  • Conducting regular Internal QHSE Management System / Sustainability Audits in ISPC.
  • Attending Sustainability Management Group meeting to help improve the organization’s Sustainability Management System.
  • Collecting Key Performance Indicators with respect to the organization’s Sustainability Management System.
  • Attending training in ISO & sustainability management systems.
  • Creating awareness about sustainability management systems amongst colleagues.
