Job summary

Merge Recruitment Agency seeks an electronics service technician to repair defective electronics at customer sites in Dammam. The role requires ordering spare parts and maintaining accurate home-visit reports.

You will re-install repaired items, manage parts consumption, and ensure timely supplier communication. You will handle on-site deliveries, update the system daily, and help meet service KPIs across the area.

Qualifications

• Honesty, integrity and disciplined work ethic.
• Diploma in electronics or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair defective electronics items according to working instructions.
• Re-install defective items at customer’s place after repair.
• Order spare parts required for repairing the item.
• Control the consumption of spare parts.
• Maintain good relation with supplier to timely resolve pending cases.
• Responsible for product handling while pulling out / delivery to customer’s place.
• Prepare home visit report for all executed visits.
• Prepare charge estimates for out of warranty and mis-use cases.
• Prepare technical reports for defective items to be signed by the Technical Center Head.
• Collect money from customers for chargeable cases and submit at the point of sales.
• Daily update the system for the work done.
• Manage and supervise sub-contractor performance in his city.
• Assure implementation of services SOPs in daily activities
• Responsible to achieve the services KPIs of his area of work.

Job description

1. 1. Repair defective electronics items (ex. TVs, Plasma screens, LCD screens, home theaters, DVD players, projectors, and small home appliances….etc) according to the working instructions.


2. 2. Re-install defective items at customer’s place after repair.


3. 3. Order the spare parts required for repairing the item according to the working instructions.


4. 4. Control the consumption of spare parts.


5. 5. Maintain good relation with the supplier to timely resolve the pending cases.


6. 6. Responsible for product handling while pulling out / delivery to customer’s place.


7. 7. Prepare home visit report for all the executed visits.


8. 8. Preparing charge estimate for out of warranty and miss-use cases.
