A retail company in the Riyadh region is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in financial planning, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager will oversee and manage the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, budget controlling, and analysis functions for the retail company. This role is crucial for supporting strategic financial decisions, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring that the company meets its financial targets. The FP&A Manager will work closely with various business units, providing actionable financial insights.1. Financial Planning and Budgeting : Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring that financial targets are realistic and aligned with overall company goals. Develop detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives, taking into account trends in retail sales, and customer behavior. Prepare long-term financial plans (3-5 years plans) to support business strategy and growth objectives.2. Financial Analysis and Reporting : Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and operational performance. Generate regular financial reports for senior management, focusing on key retail KPIs (e.g., sales per store, average transaction value, inventory turnover, profitability by channel). Ensure the accuracy and clarity of financial data presented to senior leadership, with a focus on retail-specific financial metrics.3. Forecasting : Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, incorporating data from systems to predict sales, revenue, and costs. Regularly assess performance against forecasts, providing actionable recommendations for course corrections when necessary.4. Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management : Act as a strategic partner to retail and operations teams, offering financial insights to improve sales channel performance and drive better results. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align financial strategies with business needs and retail trends.5. Financial Strategy and Insights : Provide strategic financial insights based on analysis of retail operations trends to support decision-making around pricing, promotions, and inventory management. Identify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost reduction within retail operations based on detailed financial analysis.6. Compliance and Internal Controls : Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, specifically related to retail operation. Maintain strong internal controls over retail financial data, particularly data integrity and accuracy. Control spending vs. budget and mitigate any major variances.7. Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts specializing in retail financial planning and budgeting control. Foster a high-performance culture, providing guidance and professional growth opportunities for team members.8. Technology and Systems : Leverage retail-specific financial software, and ERP platforms to analyze and interpret sales and financial data effectively. Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, focusing on automation and accuracy. Advance Excel, PowerPoint, & Power BI user.9. Other Responsibilities : Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, optimizing analysis and reporting. Stay up to date on trends in retail and apply this knowledge to improve financial operations and analysis.Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, or Accounting. MBA or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CMA, FMVA) is a big plus.,o Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role. Familiarity with retail-specific financial technologies (e.g., Oracle Retail, SAP Retail).
