Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Finance Manager to join a major FMCG company in Makkah Region. This role focuses on supporting investment operations and the Chief Investment Officer by analyzing financial performance, conducting risk assessments, and planning acquisitions. The ideal candidate should have a finance-related degree with applicable experience, preferably from the Big4 firms, and will work within a collaborative environment to enhance investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Finance or economics-related degree and ideally a post-graduate qualification.
  • Background in external audit or due diligence, ideally trained with one of the Big4 firms.
  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance.

Job description

Our client is a major FMCG business in Jeddah and has extensive operations across the Middle East. They are looking for a Saudi national to join their project office as Finance Manager for investment operations.

The purpose of this role will be to support the Chief Investment Officer and provide advice relating to investment decisions.

Core Duties
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets and plans of the various investments; work with senior management on performance improvement opportunities
  • Support the financial research function; work closely with investment analysts
  • Carry out risk analysis including benchmarking, asset allocation, financial due diligence and financial modelling to enable management to make sound decisions on new and current investments
  • Project planning for acquisitions including cost budget, timelines, scope, standard and objectives

This role is only open to Saudi nationals.

Qualifications
  • Finance or economics-related degree and ideally a post-graduate qualification such as an MBA, CPA, CFA etc.
  • Background in external audit or due diligence, ideally trained with one of the Big4 firms.
  • Other experience required: mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, data analysis.
