The role of the Finance Manager (Middle East) is to provide senior financial leadership and statutory oversight across the Middle East region, with primary responsibility for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role acts as the finance lead for the KSA legal entity, ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and effective business partnering with regional and global stakeholders.
The role holds delegated Power of Attorney (POA) and regulatory authority for the KSA entity and works closely with the Country Lead to manage statutory, commercial, and financial obligations. The Finance Manager is accountable for ZATCA compliance, statutory reporting, and the effective management of external advisors.
Key Responsibilities and Mapped Competencies
Financial Leadership and Governance
Ensures Accountability, Business Insight
- Act as the Finance Lead for the KSA legal entity, supporting regional Middle East operations.
- Hold Power of Attorney (POA) and delegated regulatory authority for the KSA entity, in line with governance requirements.
- Ensure strong financial controls, compliance with internal control standards, and adherence to group policies.
- Partner with the Country Lead to support entity management, governance, and decision‑making.
Statutory, Tax, and Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure full compliance with ZATCA requirements, including VAT, withholding tax, and statutory filings.
- Oversee statutory accounts, audits, and regulatory submissions for KSA and other Middle East entities as required.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax consultants, including PwC.
- Monitor changes in local tax and regulatory requirements and advise the business on implications.
Performance Management and Commercial Controlling

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for KSA and the Middle East region.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and performance insights to regional and global leadership.
- Conduct financial reviews, profitability analysis, and business case evaluations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and DSO performance.
Business Partnering and Decision Support

- Support investment decisions, CAPEX reviews, and approval processes.

Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a senior finance or controlling role within a multi‑country or regional environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Saudi statutory, tax, and ZATCA requirements.
- Proven experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and external advisors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into business insight.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
