Job summary

A regional finance firm is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee accounts and financial operations in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Excel. You will be responsible for maintaining accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations in Saudi Arabia, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience required.
  • Good working knowledge of MYOB and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain full sets of accounts and manage inter-company recoveries.

Job Description

Title : Finance Manager

Reporting to the General Manager and the Group Finance Director.

Job Role & Responsibilities
  • Maintaining full sets of accounts, audit and taxes, inter-company recoveries and bank conciliation
  • Preparation of inter-company billing, bank reconciliation and month end schedules & filing of GST returns
  • A good track record in Accounts Receivable and / or debt recovery
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and parents and ensuring transparency and clarity of information
  • Responding to queries and complaints in a timely manner to avoid the need for follow up
  • Preparation and issuing of tuition fee and exams invoices and supporting with collections
  • Coordinating payment plan documentation requirements; ensuring that requirements are fulfilled
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable and payable
  • Execute payments to suppliers after relevant approval by management
  • Follow up with suppliers on outstanding or overdue payments
  • Manage petty cash and the accurate recording of receipts
  • Responsible for month and year end closing, and monthly VAT submissions
  • Maintain accurate filing and records for auditing purposes
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or its equivalent from accredited institutions
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with good working knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of the financial operations and reporting requirements in Saudi Arabia
  • Open minded and a strong team player
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Self-driven and committed individual
