Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations at both the group and subsidiary levels. This role includes responsibilities for monthly closing of financial statements, consolidation, supporting auditors, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, and reporting to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
    • Oversee the monthly closing of financial statements.
    • Consolidate financial reports from various subsidiaries and assets.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Develop and manage the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
    • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Treasury Management:
    • Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company can meet its obligations.
    • Optimize the use of financial resources and manage financial risks.
  • Audit Support:
    • Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
    • Ensure timely and accurate provision of required documentation and information.
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
    • Support the Head of Finance in strategic decision-making.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business growth and investment decisions.
Asset/Subsidiary Level Responsibilities
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee the financial operations of individual assets or subsidiaries.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting at the subsidiary level.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency:
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze financial performance and key metrics for each subsidiary.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks at the subsidiary level.
  • Support for Local Management:
    • Work closely with local management teams to support financial decision-making.
    • Provide training and guidance on financial matters.
  • Oversee tax filing:
    • Review the Zakat computation and filing process.
    • Review the VAT and Withholding Tax computation and filing process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred with active SOCPA registration.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a technology company.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
