Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh is seeking a Finance Associate to ensure accurate budgeting and cost reporting while supporting the Finance team with various tasks. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in the MENA region, preferably in the pharmaceuticals or FMCG sectors. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems are essential, alongside proactive problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals, FMCG in MENA Region.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Debit notes and tracker updates.
  • Ensure correct booking & payment on time as per the Authority matrix.
  • Submit monthly Expense reports with periodic variance analysis.
  • Serve as point of contact for distributors regarding outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with finance team and Tax team.
  • Manage third-party accounts and audit requirements.

Job description
ROLE PURPOSE

The Finance Associate is required to ensure that all costs are correctly budgeted and captured, making sure all stakeholders are aligned with the reporting of costs. In addition, to support the commercial Finance function with ad‑hoc tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining Debit notes and tracker updates.
  • Seeking approvals as per the Authority matrix, ensuring correct booking & payment on time.
  • Monthly Expense reports submission to cost centre owners, along with periodic variance analysis.
  • Point of contact for all distributors – outstanding payments in terms of reasons for non‑settlement.
  • Coordinate with the finance team, Tender team and Aspen TESS team.
  • Coordinate with the Tax team and ZATCA (Saudi tax authority) and Zakat.
  • Track and process all monthly payments with Tess, Rent, utilities, team expenses, etc, for RHQ.
  • Process payment on the distributor system other than payroll (OPEX, Expenses, etc).
  • Manage third‑party accounts.
  • Managing Audit requirements & Tax compliance for KSA entity.
  • Ad‑hoc tasks supporting the commercial & Finance teams with projects in the region.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or any degree/diploma equivalent to Finance (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CGMA)
  • 2‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals, FMCG in MENA Region
