0551 Varex Imaging Arabia Commercial Limited in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technical Field Service Engineer to support the Middle East region. The role covers onsite installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of X‑ray imaging equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will travel across the Middle East, provide remote assistance, manage service records, and collaborate with the European Field Service Team to maintain equipment performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; 3–5 years of experience in a similar field service role.
• Sound knowledge of electronic and electro‑mechanical engineering, including testing equipment for verification, checkout, and calibration.
• Proficient with micro‑computer/PC based systems and SAP or equivalent ERP products.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
• Ability to identify and repair complex software, network, mechanical, and imaging‑system problems.
• Experience with troubleshooting vacuum leaks and imaging‑system defects.
• Proficient in business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
• Customer‑focused attitude and prior experience in customer relations.
• Willingness to work in a global team and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support and remote assistance to customers and Field Service Representatives to resolve service issues promptly.
• Order spare parts, replenish spare‑parts kits for warranty and contract customers, ensuring equipment remains operational and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Enter detailed records of service visits into company information systems, documenting technical problems, actions taken, and parts used.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation on operating characteristics, design factors, and performance of Varex products.
• Assist in developing new servicing techniques and writing service documentation.
• Provide training to other field personnel as needed.
• Report on activity via Field Service Reports (FSR), timesheets, and expense reports to maintain accurate company statistics.
• Answer common customer inquiries and incoming calls.
• Collaborate closely with the Field Service Team in Europe.
• Travel frequently to customer sites throughout the Middle East region.
