Job summary

A leading hospital in Mecca is seeking a Family Medicine Consultant to provide high-quality patient care and supervise medical staff. The ideal candidate will have a medical degree, board certification in family medicine, and at least 5 years of post-board experience. Proficiency in English is required, and additional skills in Arabic are beneficial. You will participate in training, research, and various administrative functions.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required training in family medicine.
  • Board certification in the relevant medical specialty.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship in the relevant specialty.
  • Dataflow certification is a must.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides high-quality familycare to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in family Medicine
  • (Arab , Jordanian, Lebanese)Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically required or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Min. 5 years Post Board/Fellowship in family medicine
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References
