Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced EWS Technician Senior to be responsible for the operations and maintenance of electronic warfare and radar systems. The ideal candidate will perform OJT, train junior staff, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations. Professional experience in related fields is required, and this position offers a fixed-term employment type.

  • Operate and maintain the Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS).
  • Advise customer on current and future electronic warfare capabilities.
  • Train customer personnel and provide OJT on EWS.
  • Undertake EW/radar maintenance, repair and inspection tasks.
  • Perform first-level quality inspection and functional tests of EW/radar system.

The EWS Technician Senior will be responsible for operations and maintenance of Electronic Warfare and radar systems. The EWS Technician Senior will perform OJT on location and train junior staff as required.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
  • Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
  • Operate and maintain the Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS)
  • Advise customer on current and future electronic warfare capabilities
  • Train customer personnel and provide OJT on EWS
  • Work as part of a team; specific duties will include satisfactory performance of scheduled and unscheduled tasks within a customer environment
  • Undertake individually or as part of a team: EW/radar maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures
  • Check tools/GSE for condition and expiration date before starting any maintenance activity and ensure correct use
  • Perform electrical assembly and integration
  • Perform first-level quality inspection and functional tests of EW/radar system
  • Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instrumentation and flight control systems
  • Conduct factory and onsite acceptance tests
  • Ensure all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring timely and quality delivery in line with Airbus requirements
  • Conduct on-the-job training activity
  • Guide junior technicians as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
