What is Candlelight?

Since July 2019, Fever Originals has produced a series of classical music concerts in a “candlelit setting” which take place in the most intimate and undiscovered venues all over the world. Cities include: France (Paris, Toulouse, Lyon), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia), Portugal (Lisbon and Porto), and the United States (Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago), and are in the process of expanding to your city! Candlelight has democratized classical music by sharing it with the general public and providing a unique experience for each of our audiences. As of today, Candlelight concerts are present in over 300 cities around the world!

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical‑thinking event manager/producer who will support our Project Manager ensuring that high‑quality experiences are delivered. This person will serve as the point of contact on the production side projects, being responsible for the third parties involved in the execution, development, and production of the creative deliverables. Additionally, it will also act as an onsite event manager some of our Candlelight Concerts located in Jeddah, KSA. This would be an indefinite part‑time freelance contract. Availability to work on weekends will be required.

This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budgets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in live event production and management.

Important: This position requires having a business entity, registered, or being a self‑employed sole trader.

You will:
  • Manage several aspects of event productions (e.g., pre‑production logistics planning, vendor selection, hiring, onsite execution, as well as post‑event wrap‑up)
  • Create productions timelines and ensure that teams are keeping to schedule
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables
  • Ensure each staff member is trained in their duties whether it is validating tickets, accommodating guests to their seats, or setting up the candles in the venue in preparation for the concert
  • Manage inventory and track supplies for venues, any printing needs and guest lists for all events
  • Report weekly to Fever Originals Project Managers about the status of each event; including both the pre and post‑event findings and feedback
  • Occasionally assist with evaluating and executing walk‑throughs of potential venues
  • Manage multiple productions and help scale various Fever Original IPs against team targets
  • Manage budgets of different scales
  • Research new vendors, technologies, experiences
  • Secure proper event permits and meet insurance requirements
  • Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and working with the legal department on contracts
  • Domestic travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications

You have a track record of successfully produced events with strong data analysis, oral and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset. The role requires a mix of business development and operational experience. Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment/events industry. You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail‑oriented while looking around corners, and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in the event production industry
  • 3+ years experience in event management
  • Fluency in English + Arabic. Other languages are a plus.
  • Experience leading an on‑site team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of an event in an organized and efficient way
  • Have a strong network of vendors and venues
  • Understanding of technical production requirements
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and familiarity with permitting processes
  • Huge appetite for learning and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • Have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships
  • Able to communicate with partners, brands, agencies, and talent on efforts
  • Ability to think strategically when faced with an events partnership brief or with our proprietary data on what events work
