Job summary

An international consulting firm seeks an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Technician for their Riyadh office. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in environmental specialization, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and be certified by the Saudi Council of Engineers. Responsibilities include providing sustainability consulting services and conducting Environmental Impact Assessments for various projects. A strong teamwork capability and an innovative mindset are necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

ABOUT YOU

• You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience related to environment and/or sustainability.
• You are certified as a Technician by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Previous experience in any of the following fields is a plus:
  • Environmental Consulting/Consultancy
  • Environmental impact assessment
  • Environmental Social Impact Assessment
  • ESG or Sustainability field
  • Experience in climate change related assignments, including climate change mitigation, climate risk assessment, climate change adaptation and combating desertification
  • Experience in Biodiversity, Natural Capital and Natural Resources Management related assignments
• You have the ability to work in a team and have technical rigour.
• You are independent and have an innovative mindset.
• You have an advanced level of English (C1).
• And above all... are eager to learn in a multinational firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate with our existing team in the Riyadh office, providing sustainability and environmental consulting services—such as permitting and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)—across a wide range of projects, including infrastructure, energy, water, and urban planning.

Additional requirements

• Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
• Based in Riyadh.
• Valid SCE membership
