Job description

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Review Quality Manuals, documents, and implementation procedures to verify compliance with Aramco codes and standards, regulations and regulatory commitments. Maintain all inspection & test / Quality records. Ensure that the construction project complies with all ARAMCO quality, safety and building regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the HSE strategic plan in alignment with the global and Saudi Aramco standard.
  • Ensure and promote Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) of all Functions within the company.
  • Develop and Champion HSE Agena through proactive communication and influencing. Ensure company operations comply with Corporate HSE Policies on Health, Safety & Environment.
  • Develop HSE improvements plans through structured assessment process and a monitoring mechanism to proactively manage performance.
  • Accountable for the work undertaken by the HSE department.
  • Conduct frequent HSE walkabout to ensure overall HSE compliance.
  • Develops and implements HSE programs such as e.g. loss prevention system (LPS), etc.
  • Conduct HSE related Trainings as needed.
  • Participate in internal or external safety risk assessment.
  • Sharing of lessons learnt from industry & professional networks concerning Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Implement the procedures as required by Corporate HSE Policies and ISO 14001, 45001.
  • Ensure all department are continually updated on lessons learnt from affiliates concerning Safety, Health and Environment.
Qualification
  • Master/Bachelor degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Engineering or Equivalent
  • Possess knowledge of management system requirements like ISO 14001, 45001.
  • Successful track record of delivery in a range of HSE initiatives.
  • Experience with Loss prevention systems & Incident investigations.
Other Qualification
  • ISO 14001 and 45001 Quality Management System certified
  • IRCA Accredited QMS Auditor / Lead Auditor
  • PMP (Project Management Profession)
Experience
  • Minimum of 20 years' of experience out of which min 10 years worked as HSE Manager with Aramco contactors in the same capacity (Pipeline Projects experience is mandatory)
  • Aramco approved as HSE Manager in Oil & Gas
