Summary Introduction
The Enterprise Architect will play a key role in shaping and driving the organization’s enterprise architecture, aligning it with the overall business strategy and digital transformation initiatives. With extensive experience in enterprise architecture and NORA (National Open Reference Architecture) implementation, the Enterprise Architect will work to design scalable, future‑proof architectures that support business growth and technological evolution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation practices, including Qiyas, and will excel in translating complex ideas into actionable solutions. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and program management skills to lead teams and drive successful architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture Design & Strategy: Lead the development, implementation, and refinement of the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Design high‑level architecture models that support both current and future business growth.
- NORA Implementation: Utilize your expertise in NORA to implement national‑level reference architectures within the organization, ensuring alignment with governmental digital transformation guidelines and standards.
- Visualization of Growth & Future Architecture Models: Visualize and model the future state of enterprise architecture, identifying emerging trends and technologies that will enhance the organization’s systems. Develop high‑level models to support future analysis, innovation, and maturing the current architecture.
- Digital Transformation Alignment (Qiyas & Other Practices): Leverage your strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation frameworks, including Qiyas, to ensure the enterprise architecture aligns with national digital transformation goals and practices. Incorporate other industry best practices to drive innovation and modernization.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership: Foster strong relationships with business and IT leaders, ensuring that enterprise architecture initiatives support strategic business goals. Use your interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders and provide guidance on architecture decisions and roadmaps.
- Actionable Recommendations: Translate complex, technical architecture concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for both business and technical stakeholders. Ensure that strategic goals and objectives are clearly understood and achievable through architectural solutions.
- Program/Project Management: Lead the management and execution of enterprise architecture initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Set clear, measurable goals for architecture‑related programs and projects, tracking progress and delivering the desired outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Monitor and refine the enterprise architecture over time to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with business needs. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, optimizing systems for better performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce architecture governance standards to ensure consistency, security, and compliance across all enterprise systems. Provide guidance on the integration of new technologies, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship to other architects and technical teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. Ensure teams understand and adhere to the architectural vision and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
- More than 10 years of experience in information technology field.
- Experience with EA Tools.
- TOGAF 9 Certified Certification is must.
- ArchiMate Practitioner and PMP "preferable".
