Job Summary
Responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging machines. Ensures all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and production lines.
- identify mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- support continuous improvement of equipment performance by analyzing recurring faults and implementing technical solutions.
- contribute to the installation, adjustment, and commissioning of new equipment.
- document all maintenance activities in logs or the electronic cmms.
- adhere to health and safety procedures, quality policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- collaborate with the production team to minimize unplanned downtime
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in the maintenance of pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing equipment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and technical drawings
- Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Familiar with GMP and cleanroom maintenance practices.
