A prominent hotel group in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced engineering supervisor to lead their maintenance team. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating maintenance operations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and 3–7 years of relevant supervisory experience. This role requires strong leadership skills and technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of engineering and maintenance personnel.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery, utilities, and building systems.
Inspect work areas and completed jobs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
Plan and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement requests.
Coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory regulations.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment or systems.
Train and mentor engineering team members to improve technical skills and performance.
Participate in root cause analysis and recommend long-term engineering solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
3–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or utility systems.
Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety standards, preventive maintenance techniques, and troubleshooting methods.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
May involve working in production plants, manufacturing facilities, or hotel/resort environments.
Requires hands‑on involvement during breakdowns and emergencies.
May include shift work or on‑call duties depending on operational needs.
