Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of engineering and maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery, utilities, and building systems.
  • Inspect work areas and completed jobs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
  • Plan and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement requests.
  • Coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory regulations.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment or systems.
  • Train and mentor engineering team members to improve technical skills and performance.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend long‑term engineering solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or utility systems.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, preventive maintenance techniques, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
Work Environment
  • May involve working in production plants, manufacturing facilities, or hotel/resort environments.
  • Requires hands‑on involvement during breakdowns and emergencies.
  • May include shift work or on‑call duties depending on operational needs.
