Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of engineering and maintenance personnel.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery, utilities, and building systems.
- Inspect work areas and completed jobs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement requests.
- Coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment or systems.
- Train and mentor engineering team members to improve technical skills and performance.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend long‑term engineering solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 3–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or utility systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
- Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards, preventive maintenance techniques, and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
Work Environment
- May involve working in production plants, manufacturing facilities, or hotel/resort environments.
- Requires hands‑on involvement during breakdowns and emergencies.
