Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the region is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering and design aspects of a project based in Yanbu, KSA. The successful candidate will lead engineering teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project schedules and technical specifications. A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, particularly with wind projects, and proficient in relevant software are required. This role offers a 1-year contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including 5+ years managing engineering for wind projects or MV/HV substations.
• Hands-on experience with EPC project processes.

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Industry: EPC - based project (1 year contract)

About the Role

You will lead all engineering and design aspects of the project, ensuring work aligns with schedules and technical specifications. You will coordinate with contractors, Owner Engineer, government authorities, and other stakeholders, while supporting procurement, construction, and testing & commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering activities across the project lifecycle
• Review, approve, and manage engineering documents and design submissions
• Coordinate with contractors, Owner Engineer, and authorities for timely project delivery
• Provide technical solutions for design/engineering issues
• Support procurement, construction, and testing & commissioning with engineering inputs
• Ensure compliance with international standards and KSA-specific codes

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Power preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including 5+ years managing engineering for wind projects, MV/HV substations, or grid interfaces
• Hands-on experience with EPC project processes and stakeholder management
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software
• Fluent in English; KSA code knowledge is a plus
• Self-motivated and able to work in remote locations
