A construction management firm in the Makkah Region seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance while managing costs. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering management skills and excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on teamwork and communication. This role involves rigorous oversight of contractors and suppliers to maintain project progress and safety standards.
1. Project Management: Overseeing store construction projects, managing project cost budgets and ensuring cost targets are met; developing project schedules, employing project management tools for real-time progress monitoring, and promptly resolving delays;
2. Quality Management: Establishing quality control systems, supervising construction quality to ensure compliance with design standards, exercising comprehensive oversight over project progress, quality, cost and safety, and conducting guidance, supervision and assessment;
3. Supplier Management: Oversee supplier operations including vetting new suppliers, organising routine training, conducting periodic assessments, and removing non‑compliant suppliers.
4. Construction Process Management: Convene multi‑party reviews involving design, construction, and suppliers; lead acceptance and documentation of critical materials and works; monitor main contractors and subcontractors' performance in real time, promptly rectifying issues; swiftly identify construction problems and propose corrective measures to ensure project stability.
5. Compliance Management: Lead construction and fire safety approval processes, securing essential permits including commencement authorisations;
6. Settlement Management: Rigorous review of as‑built drawings and settlement documentation; drive audit settlement procedures, monitor critical process milestones, and facilitate closed‑loop settlement completion.
