A leading manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer in Jubail. This role involves managing electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with engineering design and project requirements. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in the petrochemical or oil and gas sectors. Strong communication and risk management skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management are a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry-related codes and standards required.

Work Location: KSA > Jubail

An exciting opportunity is available for Project Electrical Engineer located in Jubail.

Job Purpose

Dedicated professional overseeing different projects from start to finish ensuring that engineering design, procurement, construction and project completion is done in compliance with the project objectives and contractual requirements i.e. project schedule, cost, HSE, company standards and procedures.

Role responsibilities:

  • Carries out conventional Project Management tasks requiring broad application of engineering knowledge, regulations, and standards.
  • Facilitates & ensures the project schedule and plans to successfully deliver assigned project’s.
  • Ensure safety measures are implemented in the project’s execution.
  • Carries out review of Technical Proposals, Conduct Technical Bid Clarifications, Create Technical Bid Evaluations.
  • Facilitates & Manages review of engineering studies, preliminary engineering, detail design, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, handover, commissioning, startup, and close out.
  • Monitor and Control project progress throughout the project life cycle from Initiation to closeout.
  • Review weekly and monthly project progress reports, monitor progress of the contracts, including project costs and schedule. Attend project meetings e.g. progress, stakeholders, design review, value improvement, etc.
  • Identifies and analyzes the risks of the project, identifies, and implements mitigatory actions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of project issues arising in all phases of the project.
  • Lead the Execution of CAPEX projects according to the scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Prepare/Review monthly project performance reports showing the status of design, material procurement, construction, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, variances from standards, waivers and problems and present them to higher management.
  • Fully familiar with company Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and achieve them for assigned projects.

Qualification, experience required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management (Preferred: - Petrochemical or Oil & Gas field related experience).
