Job summary

A leading automotive battery manufacturer in Riyadh is seeking a professional to support and accelerate continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Principles and Six Sigma Tools. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and operational quality. A degree in Engineering or a relevant diploma and experience in a similar role are required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma combined with relevant experience.
  • 2 years’ experience with Degree or 7 years’ experience with Diploma.

Overview

National Batteries Company (Battariat) is the first Saudi Arabian Automotive Battery Manufacturer, producing quality products, based on Advanced German Technology from Varta Batterie AG, Germany. The National Industrialization Company (TASNEE) holds 90% of the company’s shareholding, while the remaining shareholding is held by reputed businessmen of the country.

Summary: Dynamically support and accelerate the company’s continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean principles, process optimization, problem solving methodologies and critical thinking. The role assists in identifying inefficiencies, analysing workflows and drive operational excellence through cross collaboration with multi-functional teams.

In this role, you will be responsible of:

  • Support and drive the deployment of Lean Principles, Six Sigma Tools and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Driving, contributing and accelerating dynamic projects related to enhancement of product or operations with strategical planning and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve goals and sustain improvements.
  • Introduce, analyze and interpret the operational data to define KPI’s and execute the planning to reach desired outcomes.
  • Participate in Kaizen events, workshops and improvement initiatives to accelerate performance.
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implementing lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to reduce production times, increase efficiency, and improve quality.
  • Designing and implementing systems that improve productivity and reduce defects.
  • Working collaboratively with all departments to align processes and achieve business goals.
  • Using statistical methods and performance metrics to understand and improve performance.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma combined with relevant experience.
  • 2 years’ experience with Degree or 7 years’ experience with Diploma is desirable
