Job summary

A construction and engineering company in the Riyadh Region is seeking a Cost Control Engineer. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, preparing cost reports, and reviewing invoices. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and has 3-6 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and communication skills along with proficiency in Oracle ERP are required for this role.

Qualifications

Description
  1. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
  2. Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  3. Evaluate financial impact of design or scope changes and report findings.
  4. Review and verify subcontractor invoices and purchase orders.
  5. Support procurement, contracts, and finance teams in cost-related matters.
  6. Perform earned value analysis (EVA) to measure project performance.
  7. Ensure all cost data is accurately updated in Oracle / ERP systems.
  8. Maintain documentation of cost control procedures and reports.
  9. Assist in monthly cost review meetings and management reporting.
  10. Identify and recommend opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Construction, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. 3–6 years of experience in cost control within construction or infrastructure projects.
  3. Proficiency in Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems for cost tracking and reporting.
  4. Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  5. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
  6. Familiarity with project management and budgeting concepts.
  7. Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
