Job summary

A prestigious hospital in Qassim is seeking an Endocrinology Assistant Consultant. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients suffering from endocrine disorders and manage both inpatient and outpatient services. You will also supervise fellows and aid in training medical residents while participating in research activities. Job Summary

As an Assistant Endocrinologist Consultant, you will provide direct patient care, diagnoses and treats endocrine disorders like diabetes, manages inpatient and outpatient services, and performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures under supervision. They also offer consultation to other departments, participate in healthcare team meetings, contribute to educational and research activities, and uphold hospital policies and quality standards

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides high-quality Endocrinology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in endocrinology.
  • (Arab , Jordanian, Egyptian) Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically required or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
  • Min. 5 years Post Board/Fellowship in endocrinology.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
