Job Purpose
Employees Services Lead Specialist
Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.
They undertake complex operational activities including evaluation of HC polices vis vi prevailing laws to suggest process and procedure improvements, ensure alignment, and support administration of employee services in impeccable ways.

Employees Services Lead Specialist
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is required
Roles And Responsibilities
Key Activities
- Maintain a log of all existing employees' records and documents (work permits, visas, social security, etc.) to ease future retrieval and referencing
- Maintain/Build robust relations with governmental entities (i.e., consulates, embassies, ministries etc.) to ensure ease in governmental processes such as issuance/ cancellation of visas, etc.
- Handle employee services such onboarding, contract activation/renewal, policy advice, and end of service indemnities processes (files processing, paperwork & payment settlement)
- Supervise employee leaves and vacation requests, identify red flags, and report request outcomes to appropriate stakeholders
- Handle employee termination procedures, including cancellation of work permits and exit permits while adhering to relevant laws, regulations and legal requirements
- Collect employee inquiries regarding HC policies and accordingly provide needed guidance and clarifications
- Respond to employee calls and ad hoc business requests to attend to and resolve inquiries or to elevate as needed
- Administer MCEs transfer process, off boarding, leaves, and absences and report any disciplinary cases
- Attend business meetings and prepare reports as needed to support decision making process
Organization and Operations
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
People Management
- Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
- Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes
