Overview

Emergency Medicine Consultant (Ref#060) - Full-time

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with travel throughout Saudi Arabia while providing Emergency Concierge Medical Services. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and providing medical care in the assigned field, in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the set policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provides and maintains an efficient consultative, diagnostic and advisory service.
  • Responsible for the highest standard of medical care for whom he / she will be responsible.
  • Participates in the management of the physical and manpower resources of the assigned area to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participates in actively promoting, and formulating teaching and training programs for Medical, Technical, Nursing and other staff as applicable.
  • Meet on a continuing basis all prerequisites for the team category.
  • Regularly assume the functions pertaining to his / her specialty, including emergency care, consultations, and committee assignment and on calls.
  • Maintain responsibility for the management of patient under his / her care.
  • Undertakes a comprehensive program of quality assurance which will ensure that standards are met and maintained as required.
  • Promotes and maintains the high standards of the discipline by continuing medical education and the development of the specialty / subspecialty.
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Participates in self and others\' education, training and development, as applicable.
  • Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to the department or specialty, as assigned.
  • Follows all approved policies and procedures.
