Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 years in a supervisory position.
  • 2 years GCC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of ELV systems.
  • Coordinate the integration of ELV systems with other MEP systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships for procurement and installation.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.
  • Control budgets for ELV systems and manage costs.

Job Summary

The job purpose of an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) is to oversee and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of extra low voltage systems within MEP projects. The role ensures that ELV systems, such as security, communication, and automation systems, are integrated effectively and operate efficiently, aligning with project specifications and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of ELV systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Coordinate the integration of ELV systems with other MEP systems and overall building infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, including procurement, installation, and quality control of ELV systems.
  • Ensure technical standards and best practices are followed in the installation and maintenance of ELV systems.
  • Ensure all ELV systems comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets for ELV systems, controlling costs and ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and maintenance of ELV systems to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, installations, and modifications for future reference and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the ELV team, including engineers and technicians, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed for effective performance.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on ELV system performance, project status, and any issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ELV systems, including security, communication, and automation technologies.
  • Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of ELV systems.
  • Strong skills in managing ELV projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to ELV systems.
  • Excellent leadership abilities to manage teams and effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and report on project progress.
  • ERP knowledge; preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
