Overview

Job Purpose The Electromechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and supervision of MEP systems in building and infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical and mechanical systems are integrated, efficient, and comply with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Review and coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
  • Conduct load calculations and select appropriate equipment and materials.
  • Ensure all systems comply with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design tools.
  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of MEP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other related engineering software.
  • Good knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IEC.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
