A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support maintenance at Satorp, Jubail. The successful candidate will execute and coordinate maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Applicants should have 4-6 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Refinery industry and possess a diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. A valid certification is required.

Qualifications

Job description

Electrical Technician II

KBR is looking for Electrical Technician II to support the maintenance project at Satorp, Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Summary

Execute routine or highly skilled plant electrical maintenance & repair work in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Carry out and/or coordinate the preventive & corrective maintenance jobs as directed by maintenance supervisor.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, procedures and work instruction during the execution of various jobs related to plant maintenance and inspection jobs such as SWP permit, proper assessment of work, organizing proper tools etc.

Perform timely diagnosis of routine or non-routine electrical faults and suggest necessary measures for troubleshooting.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years’ experience in maintenance of Oil & Gas, Refinery industry
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas / Refinery facilities.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized 3rd party certification body or an accredited Saudi Institute attesting the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the work.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or High school with extensive experience.
