Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Performing the assigned Electrical, automation, and Commissioning activities for the assigned jobs for water treatment plants.
  • Repair, maintenance and installation of PLCs/HMIs to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our production works and associated sites.
  • Installing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand wiring layouts and component specifications.
  • Connecting wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all necessary administration associated with reactive and planned maintenance work
  • Update job records arrange the service or commissioning reports and upload the same to our business and work management systems.
  • Work in line with company policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Backup all PLC & HMI Software handling Fault Finding on PLC’s & HMI’s,
  • Make modifications to PLC programs & HMI configuration to correct issues or improve and optimize site performance
  • Writing PLC Programs for site upgrades & Fault tracing, and Reporting.
  • To handle instrumentation calibration at the Water treatment plant and Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Diagnosing electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and tools.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures and performing any assigned tasks by the management
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
Qualifications

Qualifications: Diploma degree in Electrical or equivalent.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in the water treatment field.

  • Before visiting any site, factory, and/or warehouse, make sure to inform the safety team to get the right induction and prepare LMRA and the needed PPE.
  • Always maintain office safety such as keeping your files/papers in the correct place, keeping the drawers closed after use, arranging the electrical cables secured to avoid slips & trips, reporting any lost connections or damaged electrical components, and ensuring your office is clean and tidy
  • Report to HR/HSE if you are facing stress, fatigue, any form of harassment, or bullying at the workplace.
