Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As an Electrical Technical Manager, you will lead the electrical inspection function and ensure the highest standards of technical accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. You will manage and supervise inspection teams, review and validate technical reports, approve inspection procedures and plans, and serve as the primary technical expert for clients and internal stakeholders. Your proficiency will support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure full alignment with electrical codes and engineering standards, and reinforce the company’s commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise execution of all electrical inspection and testing activities following approved procedures.
  • Review inspection reports submitted by inspectors and ensure compliance with technical specifications and Saudi Code.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of related technical procedures and documentation.
  • Monitor performance of field inspectors and prepare performance reports and training recommendations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to neutrality, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all work stages.
  • Monitor the condition of electrical testing tools/equipment and ensure validity.
  • Attend quality meetings and review technical documentation.
  • Train team members on inspection procedures and monitor their performance.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to field inspectors and help improve competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety procedures during on-site inspections.
  • Review electrical designs/drawings to ensure alignment with required standards.
  • Inspect and verify electrical systems (earthing, cable routing, insulation systems).
  • Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD.
  • Develop time schedules for large-scale projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in construction or contracting, preferably in electrical inspection and technical supervision roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including grounding, insulation methods, and non-destructive testing techniques, with strong understanding of international engineering standards and Saudi Electrical Code requirements.
  • Skilled in site inspection, technical data analysis, validation of inspection reports, and reading/interpreting electrical engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience in performance evaluation, identifying training requirements, and enhancing staff capabilities.
  • Proven ability to ensure compliance with occupational safety procedures during field operations.
  • Excellent communication, technical decision-making, coordination, and time management skills, demonstrating high integrity, professionalism, and adherence to project deadlines.
