Description

The Maintenance Manager (Electrical Engineer) will be responsible for leading, planning, and supervising all maintenance operations for electrical systems and equipment within the facility. The role includes managing the maintenance team, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team, including technicians and supervisors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage maintenance activities for LV/MV systems, generators, UPS systems, control panels, and electrical distribution networks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and company policies.
  • Review technical reports, maintenance logs, and work orders, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate maintenance work with other departments (mechanical, operations, facility management).
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement needs, and cost control within the maintenance department.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports, including downtime analysis and system performance KPIs.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and manage outsourcing when required.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to ensure high technical skills and safety awareness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 12–20 years of experience in electrical maintenance, in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, panels, generators, ATS, MDB/SMDB, motor controls, and safety protocols.
  • Experience in facility management, industrial maintenance, or large-building operations (e.g., hotels, hospitals, museums, complexes).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
